01 Consultation

We begin by having a thorough discussion about your project goals. For renovations and additions we will meet in your home. Additionally we will review your preferred aesthetic style and project budget.
02 Design

During the design stage we will share preliminary layout and aesthetic options. Often this will include 3D design models and renderings for your review. We will meet to review the options and refine the final design per your feedback.
03 Details

Following the approval of the preliminary design, we further develop detailed construction drawings. These drawings will then be used to obtain building permits, bids from contractors, and ultimately, used by your selected contractor to construct the project.
04 Construction

Although your project is now under construction, our role is not finished. We remain involved to observe the work of the contractor, help to address questions, and to review orders, submittals, and shop drawings as needed to support the progress of construction and to further ensure that the work aligns with the construction drawings.

About the Architect
Evan Sakofsky possesses a passion for thoughtful residential design and for bringing his client’s visions to life. Evan has over 14 years of experience working in all facets of architectural project management, including design, details, permitting and construction administration. He first honed his skills as an architect working for seven years in the demanding realm of New York City high-end residential and commercial design. He then brought this passion for the residential work to the New York City suburbs where he advanced his architectural knowledge and skillset as project manager with Michael Smith Architects, an architecture firm specializing in high-end single family residential design. Evan continues to carry his dedication to functional and highly detailed residential design into the work done by Sakofsky Architecture Studio.
Evan obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and then a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. He currently resides with his family in Westchester County, NY.
Evan Sakofsky is a registered architect in both New York and Connecticut.
